What's the SumUp Point of Sale?
The SumUp Point of Sale (POS) is an easy and flexible sales solution for your business. It’s 3 elements–app, cloud and hardware are linked together to help you manage your entire business from one single point.
The app is the initial checkout interface of your system. Here you can create a product catalogue and accept payments (cash, credit and debit card, invoicing, vouchers, and credit balances). You can also open and close business days from the app.
The cloud gives you access to the entire backend of the checkout system. Here you have an overview of all your sales and transactions. You can add articles and employees, and generate bookkeeping reports from the cloud.
The hardware is pre-configured by us according to your business. It doesn’t need any further technical setup. All you need to do is unbox, plug in and start selling.

The starter hardware package for SumUp POS includes everything you need to run your business. You can buy it at a one-time cost of €999, along with the software licence starting from €39.
You don't have to pay any extra fee for the setup or to access our customer support service.

How much does SumUp Start cost?
You can download the SumUp App for free and combine it with our hardware package starting from €99.
There're no monthly or recurring costs. You only pay a small fee of 2.75% for every card transaction.
Does the SumUp Start hardware package include the iPad?
The hardware package consists of an iPad stand, an Air Card Reader and a charging station.

Does SumUp provide on-site support to set up my system?
We've designed the SumUp Start system to be as user-friendly as possible. The hardware package doesn’t need any on-site technical assistance.

When can I expect the delivery of my SumUp Start system?
After you place the order and make payment for the hardware package, your system will be delivered to you within 5–10 business days.
