What is cashback?
Cashback is a loyalty programme that lets you earn a percentage of your money back when you make purchases. You'll earn 0.5% cashback when you spend with SumUp Pay, excluding not eligible transactions such as gambling transactions, crypto purchases, or topping up a wallet you have with another provider.
How does the cashback programme work?
When you spend with SumUp Pay, you receive 0.5% cashback on every purchase, in-store or online.
Your cashback is automatically stored in a cashback Space within the app. To spend the cashback, you must withdraw it to your main balance. You can then redeem your cashback when you spend with your SumUp Pay card.
How will I receive my cashback?
The cashback is credited to you after the purchase and is deposited into a cashback Space. To spend the cashback, transfer it to your main balance.
Is there a limit to how much cashback I can earn?
There is a cashback cap of £10 within a calendar month period.
How can I redeem the cashback I have collected?
Your cashback is automatically stored in a cashback Space within the app. To spend the cashback, you must withdraw it to your main balance. You can then spend your cashback from your main balance.
Does my cashback expire at some point?
Your cashback will expire if your account is inactive for 12 months. Just make a card payment to keep your account active.
