Programme schedule
1. Scope
This Programme Schedule forms part of the SumUp External Referral Programme Terms and Conditions and sets the operative Programme parameters only. All other matters are governed exclusively by the Terms.
2. Milestones and amounts
Within the Milestone Window, the Referred Contractor’s verified Deals determine a single milestone payment as follows:
a. at least five (5) Deals pays €500;
b. at least ten (10) Deals pays €1,000;
c. at least twenty (20) Deals pays €2,500;
d. at least thirty (30) Deals pays €5,000.
Milestone amounts are not cumulative - only the highest milestone reached within the Milestone Window is payable. For example, if the Referred Contractor reaches twenty Deals, the total referral bonus is €2,500 (not €500 + €1,000 + €2,500). The maximum aggregate bonus payable in respect of a single Referred Contractor is €5,000 or the local currency equivalent.
3. Milestone window
The Milestone Window is sixty (60) consecutive calendar days beginning on the Referred Contractor’s Start Date. Only Deals that occur, and meet the requirements of this Programme Schedule, within that period count toward the milestones. The Milestone Window does not pause or extend.
4. Deal definition
A Deal exists only where: the merchant has been accepted by SumUp following onboarding and verification checks; the Referred Contractor sold the SumUp card reader to that merchant; the merchant’s first transaction on that reader occurs within thirty (30) days of the hardware sale; and the merchant processes at least €500 (or local equivalent) within thirty (30) days from that first transaction. Reversed, voided or refunded amounts do not count toward the €500 threshold, and each merchant counts once.
5. Payments and currency
Bonuses are paid via the SumUp App on or around the tenth day of the calendar month following verification, or on the next applicable business day. Milestones are denominated in euros. Payments are made in local currency using SumUp’s exchange rate on the payment-run date unless stated otherwise on the Program page. Payment is conditional on completion and satisfactory outcome of required know-your-customer, anti-money-laundering and sanctions checks and identity verification. If payment steps are not completed within ninety (90) days of SumUp’s first notice that funds are available, the payment is forfeited unless prohibited by law.
If a Territory is not listed, the Contracting Entity is SumUp Limited, and the laws of the Republic of Ireland apply, subject to any mandatory protections under the laws of the Referrer’s habitual residence. Payments are made by, or on behalf of, the Contracting Entity applicable to the Referrer’s country of residence at the time of referral submission.
6. Precedence
If any landing-page summary differs from this Programme Schedule, this Programme Schedule governs the Programme parameters; the Terms govern all other matters.
