What you’ll do:
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of accountants
Review and verify/post vendor invoices
Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues as needed
Solve unusual or questionable primary documentation items
Build partnerships with respective stakeholders, understands their goals and drives solutions
Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
Ensure deep vendor knowledge in line with business needs and scope
Coordinate regular payment proposal process
Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date and processed timely and accurately
Month end closing activities, incl. but not limited to: vendor accruals, deferred expenses, MoM variance analysis comments, vendor reporting
Put in place controls (mainly Accounts Payable Controls)
Participate in creation and maintenance of operational desktop procedures (DTPs)
Ensures accurate historical records and accounting ledgers
Provide supporting documentation for audits
Ensure confidentiality of organizational information
You’ll be great for this role if:
Bachelor’s degree (BA) or Master in Accounting/Finance is required; Мaster degree is preferable
5+ years accounts payable or general accounting experience on current or relevant position
Fluent English, both written and spoken
Advanced knowledge in SAP or other ERP systems and MS Office
Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping, taxation and accounting principles
Very Good Analytical skills
Experience with automated tools for processing vendor invoices
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure in a high-paced multinational organization
Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal and cross functional collaboration skills
Strong team player able to interact with colleagues at all levels
Enthusiastic, dedicated and willing to Learn, conscientious with a “can-do” attitude and a proactive Work ethic
ACCA certification will be considered as an advantage
