WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for an experienced backend engineer with a tech-agnostic approach who has a sense of ownership of their work and understands the importance of delivering value to customers.
Our teams are cross-functional and work with end-to-end responsibility, that is why you will collaborate heavily with other software developers and QA engineers to ensure seamless deployment, integration and support for our software. You’ll contribute to API design and implementation.
You’ll actively participate in code reviews and provide comprehensive documentation to improve our overall code quality. If you’re passionate about clean, testable code and excited to make a difference using Golang, SumUp might be a great place for you.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Proven experience as a backend engineer
Relevant experience with Golang or willingness to learn
Understanding of software architecture and app design
Knowledge of distributed and fault tolerant systems
Proactivity and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
