Data Analyst (Digital Marketing)

Role Description

As a Digital Marketing Data Analyst, you will be responsible for extracting and validating learnings from OM campaigns and experiments by tracking and monitoring the impact in all of the unit economics dimensions and analyzing them to produce insights and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create models that track financial performance and acquisition KPIs, such as recurring revenue, payback, lifetime value or customer acquisition cost.

  • Maintain and improve our OM data sources and work with analytics engineers to build new ones.

  • Ensure the accuracy and consistency of the numbers used to make decisions and validate the impact of initiatives.

  • Monitor and track the impact of experiments in the unit economics and other relevant metrics.

  • Provide detailed analysis on different dimensions, such as demographic, time-bound cohort, by use case, etc. to inform targeted strategies.

  • Produce growth/market level data analyses or scenario simulations to support strategic decisions such as value proposition pricing and packaging experiments.

  • Leverage insights from data analysis to propose strategies for enhancing business results.

  • Provide leadership in testing new value propositions, bundling/packaging options, pricing mixes, and communication strategies to efficiently target different market segments.

 You’ll be great for this position if:

  • Highly proficient in Excel, SQL and Python.

  • Hands-on experience in developing advanced dashboards following industry best practices, preferably using Tableau.

  • You have a clear understanding of how unit economics work, its impact on the financial outcomes, and ideally have experience with forecasts modeling.

  • Understanding of statistical concepts and techniques such as regression, distributions, hypothesis testing and sampling.

  • Understanding of machine learning concepts and techniques, such as regression, classification, and clustering.

  • Knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe analytics, Matomo) 

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a knack for working effectively across functions.

  • Creative and critical thinking skills, coupled with a results-driven attitude and an inquisitive nature.

  • Engineering or business related degree, with interest in Growth and digital marketing.
