Ethics and Compliance Specialist

What You Will Do

  • Work with a global team while supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of our compliance program here at the LatAm tribe

  • Be responsible for leading projects inside the Compliance Department working independently while providing effective solutions to regulatory challenges and compliance risk management

  • Provide information regarding specific areas of Compliance, such as financial regulation, anti-corruption, data protection and privacy

  • Ensure policies and procedures are in place in compliance with applicable laws and regulations

  • Conduct research and provide recommendations to ensure compliance, both for existing and new products and services

  • Provide training and awareness for SumUppers on Compliance topics

  • Identification of Compliance risks and internal controls

  • Be a champion of compliance culture for the Tribe

You Will Be Great For This Position If

  • You have experience in a similar Compliance role preferably in the financial industry.

  • You have experience and/or training in compliance risk management.

  • You are a person of high ethical standards and integrity, with analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to influence and drive change

  • Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Have strong negotiation skills and a proactive, innovative approach to process improvement

  • Have a bachelor's degree (being a lawyer is not a requirement)

  • Data analytical skills are a strong plus.

  • You are fluent in English - you’ll be working in a truly global company.
