What You Will Do
Work with a global team while supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of our compliance program here at the LatAm tribe
Be responsible for leading projects inside the Compliance Department working independently while providing effective solutions to regulatory challenges and compliance risk management
Provide information regarding specific areas of Compliance, such as financial regulation, anti-corruption, data protection and privacy
Ensure policies and procedures are in place in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Conduct research and provide recommendations to ensure compliance, both for existing and new products and services
Provide training and awareness for SumUppers on Compliance topics
Identification of Compliance risks and internal controls
Be a champion of compliance culture for the Tribe
You Will Be Great For This Position If
You have experience in a similar Compliance role preferably in the financial industry.
You have experience and/or training in compliance risk management.
You are a person of high ethical standards and integrity, with analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to influence and drive change
Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
Have strong negotiation skills and a proactive, innovative approach to process improvement
Have a bachelor's degree (being a lawyer is not a requirement)
Data analytical skills are a strong plus.
You are fluent in English - you’ll be working in a truly global company.
