Logistics Manager

SumUp is growing, constantly launching new products and opening new business areas which directly impact our operation. In order to move quicker to adapt, we need leadership capacity to create, develop and implement new strategies to meet current and future business requirements. We believe that leadership increases value by driving performance. So we are looking for a leader who can effectively navigate complex problems, frame them, suggest and implement (with autonomy and engagement) real change inside SumUp and with our 3PLs.As part of SumUp as Logistics Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of the company. You’ll devise innovative strategies to drive major initiatives in Logistics and, ultimately, support the lives of millions of small merchants all over Brazil and globally.

What you’ll do

  • You’ll define and guide all initiatives related to Logistics, structuring strategy and design your team 

  • You’ll lead a high performing team and all Logistics area, including inventory management, 3PLs management, couriers management, and forecast and demand planning

  • You’ll directly lead the improvements’ implementation in order to make the current processes and the operation more robust and forecast future needs

  • You'll lead 3PLs, and make sure they are compliant with our Culture, values and delivering the best service possible in a reasonable price

  • You’ll ensure the operation is moving forward, highly interfacing with other business areas, such as demand planning, sales, product, and FP&A, responsible for working capital and inventory decision

  • With a strong tactical and strategic vision, you’ll directly contribute with the decision making and share the responsibility to drive growth

  • You will be responsible to turn logistics into a core area of the company, with a customer experience mindset and focus

  • You’ll collaborate with a bold, agile and people care culture, with high social impact helping millions of people to have access to financial and banking solutions

You’ll be great for this role if

  • You have 5+ years in leadership roles

  • You have proven track record of complex supply chain projects management

  • You are experienced in inventory management, couriers management, 3PL management, and forecast planning

  • You are experienced in working with product teams and have proven track record driving product changes

  • You excel in processes and crisis management

  • You have proven track record driving large and complex teams 

  • You are data driven and detail oriented

  • You have bias for execution and hands on

  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • You are fluent in English (you’ll be part of a truly global team)
