About Legal Team
Our Legal Team works to ensure the viability and perpetuity of SumUp’s businesses from a legal perspective, managing risks and identifying opportunities. To achieve these goals, we advise our stakeholders with technical excellence and in an accessible and didactic way. As a Team, we believe we are stronger together, working with the founder's mentality and taking care of each other, of our merchants and our company.
What you'll do
You will review all contracts entered into by SumUp and its vendors and suppliers;
You will support the implementation of a contract lifecycle management platform;
You will be responsible for proposing improvements to our models of contracts and clauses and for maintaining them always updated;
You will make researches on general legal matters in order to respond to queries from other teams;
You will draft and organize minutes of meetings and other corporate documents;
You will support the submission of corporate documents for the approval of the Brazilian Central Bank;
You will interact with the global legal team and your stakeholders across SumUp.
You’ll be great for this role if:
You have experience with Contract Review and Corporate Law;
You have great knowledge of Civil Law;
You have negotiation skills;
You are organized and disciplined;
You have the ability to build collaborative relationships;
You have at least 2 years of experience as a lawyer;
You have an advanced level of English.
