Who you are:  

SumUp seeks a Senior FP&A Analyst who will be responsible for providing high-level support to the CEO and executive team of BR Market (Payments, Lending and Bank) also reinforcing best practice from the Global FP&A team into the Market. This person will be involved in the month-end closing process, present performance updates for the BR Market, and drive the annual budgeting process.

In addition, this person will be involved in a variety of tasks such as ROI optimization, cost to serve analysis, and ad-hoc analysis for the executive team of the BR Market and SumUp globally.

This person will need to have the ability to provide insightful analysis, create compelling presentations, and drive significant financial initiatives to support the BR market. 

What you’ll do:

  • Support the CEO and executive team of the BR Market, while reinforcing best practices from our Global FP&A team

  • Manage the month-end closing process, present performance updates for the BR Market, and drive the annual budgeting process

  • Undertake a diverse range of tasks such as optimizing ROI, conducting cost to serve analysis, and performing ad-hoc analysis for the executive team of the BRMarket and SumUp globally

  • Possess exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills, as well as experience partnering with a sales team

  • Have the ability to work well under pressure and handle confidential information with discretion

What we're looking for: 

  • Excel proficiency

  • Experience using data to make decisions with strong analytical and quantitative skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Experience dealing with other teams and having a commercial mindset

  • Advanced English

  • A self-learner who is curious and has a bias for action

Nice to have:

  • Work experience in SaaS, fintech, and/or banking

  • Coding experience in SQL, Python, or data modeling
