As an Engineering Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our bank operations, leading a dynamic team of engineers in a pivotal role. Join us to drive innovation, foster technical excellence, and play a central role in shaping the future of our global banking platform.
What you'll do
Lead and manage a team of engineers dedicated to delivering and maintaining our critical bank systems
Collaborate closely with the Product Manager to define objectives and key results (OKRs) for the squad
Drive technical delivery, including hands-on involvement in technical designs and code reviews
Provide strong people management, mentoring, and development to the engineers on your team
Ensure the squad's operational excellence practices contribute to an exceptional merchant experience
You'll be great for this position if you
Are able to fluently communicate in English, both writing and speaking
Proven experience in engineering leadership and people management, with a track record of successful team management
Strong technical background, with hands-on experience in technical design and code reviews
Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers and Product Designers, to align technical efforts with business objectives
Prior experience in building and supporting high-scale, high-throughput, and high-availability systems, delivering with co-located and remote agile teams
Experience working in a backend-focused engineering team
Any of the following is considered a plus:
Experience in the fintech industry
