In the Global Bank tribe, we aim to create a business account for SumUp’s customers (our merchants) across the globe that offers services and products that are accessible to all and are offered in a fair, transparent and honest way. This role will be part of the Transfers subtribe, which is responsible for all money transfers (in and out), including features such as Pix, Interest on Balance, and Bill Payments. Small merchants are our target.
As a Senior Product Designer, you will
Create the global bank experience for an effortless experience with banking features, keeping merchant's needs, and fluid task completion as a base for our design decisions;
As one of the most senior product designers on our team, you will support junior designers in their development path;
Work independently on a complex set of features, collaborating with product management and engineering to arrive at optimal solutions, and coordinate across teams to create a holistic merchant experience;
Execute across all phases of the design process: run and define research, define the conceptual foundation for design solutions, execute excellent UX flows, apply visual design systems, prototype using a variety of tools and methods, create production-ready designs, participate or conduct usability testing and support multi-disciplinary teams during implementation;
You proactively engage with the design chapter and peers to get feedback and optimize the end-2-end customer journey;
Create design processes that follow a human-centered approach, applying both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies to validate your solutions.
You'll be great for this role if you have
Advanced knowledge of digital product development;
Research skills for quanti and quali surveys and interviews;
Senior professional with experience launching new features and evolving a product (following impacts on business numbers; continuous discovery);
Fluent or advanced English;
Data analysis knowledge is a plus;
Development skills or knowledge is a plus;
Motion experience is a plus;
GA/Looker, Tableau; and/or Firebase knowledge is a plus.
