Job Description: As the Territory Manager for SumUp POS, you will be instrumental in driving business growth and leading the field sales team. Your primary focus will be on developing and executing strategies to achieve aggressive sales targets, as well as cultivating a hunger for success within your team. You will play a crucial role in building a motivated and market-disrupting team of Field Sales Executives to propel SumUp's growth in the Italian market.


  • Guide, inspire and empower a team of Field Sales Executives, fostering a relentless drive for success and a commitment to disrupt the Market

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to propel business growth, exceed revenue targets, and gain market share within the Italian Market

  • Identify new market opportunities, untapped segments and innovative approaches to disrupt the market and gain a competitive edge

  • Monitor field sales performance, conduct regular performance reviews, and implement corrective actions as needed to drive continuous improvement

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, partners, and merchants, to drive business success


  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership role, with the skills to inspire, motivate, and cultivate a high-performing team that drives business growth and market disruption, preferably in the digital payment industry or a related technology field

  • Solid strategic acumen, adept at recognising and capitalising on new market opportunities for innovation and advantage. Comprehensive understanding of the Italian market, market dynamics, and proven ability to navigate intricate sales landscapes

  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal skills, and organisational prowess to foster robust relationships and influence stakeholders across all levels, while optimising team resources efficiently

  • Tech-savvy with a deep understanding of digital solutions and their impact on businesses

  • Fluent in English and Italian, valid driver's license and willingness to travel is required
