As the Area Manager for SumUp POS, you will be instrumental in driving business growth and leading the field sales team. Your primary focus will be on developing and executing strategies to achieve our sales targets, as well as cultivating a hunger for success within your team. You will play a crucial role in building a motivated and market-disrupting team of Field Sales Executives to propel SumUp's growth in the Italian market.
Lead, inspire, and empower Co-selling Sales Team Leads and Field Sales Executives, instilling a relentless hunger for success and a drive to disrupt the market.
Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth, exceed revenue targets, and gain market share within the Italian Market.
Identify new market opportunities, untapped segments, and innovative approaches to disrupt the market and gain a competitive edge.
Coach, mentor, and develop the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on exceeding targets and delivering exceptional results.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to provide market insights, customer feedback, and contribute to the development of effective sales strategies and marketing initiatives.
Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, partners, and merchants, to drive business success.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for market disruption and stay ahead of the competition.
Proven experience in a leadership role, driving business growth and disrupting the market, within the POS or in a payments related technology industry.
Track record of exceeding aggressive sales targets and achieving substantial revenue growth.

Strong strategic mindset with the ability to identify and seize new market opportunities for disruption and gain a competitive advantage.
