Who you Are:

As the first member of the Product Marketing team in the Consumer business, you will have a lot of autonomy to build processes from scratch, solve impactful problems and shape the future of the team. You will be working closely with these functions and our E&P team to scale our consumer product across Europe. 

This role will have a great impact on SumUp’s hyper-growth with ramping up user acquisition, and leading the right consumer product launches and market roll-outs. You will be having close collaboration with other business and product and engineering teams of SumUp. You will address the most important challenges and find solutions for our consumer mission to become a leading consumer fintech brand, globally.

What you’ll do:

  • Work with a small passionate team of talented people delivering the future of payments

  • Analyze how our core markets are growing and changing and how competitors are positioning themselves, and articulate how our company can differentiate itself

  • Collaborate with the growth marketing team & sales to nurture 

  • Orchestrate the launch of new products by working closely with product, design, sales, operations, and our marketing team

  • Craft and present compelling stories to convert prospects into customers and advocates

  • Develop and tailor marketing assets like case studies, demos, user guides for key decision makers and their stakeholders to drive adoption and internal advocacy within the customer’s organization

  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns, events & conferences to increase brand awareness

You’ll be great for this position if:

  • 4+ years of experience with a track record of growing scope and influence managing consumer segment 

  • Experience doing integrated marketing or product marketing at a fast-growing tech company; 

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to deliver on deadlines and manage multiple initiatives at once; thrives in a fast-paced environment with a high level of autonomy

  • Strong writer & storytelling skills with excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to develop multi-channel marketing campaigns including copy and assets 

  • Results-focused with a passion for exceeding measurable targets for revenue or adoption
