Go-to-market Lead - POS
SumUp is a global FinTech player on a mission to support small merchants to be successful doing what they love all over the world. The Point of Sale solution is a critical central piece as we think about enabling merchants worldwide with a toolkit necessary to grow their revenues and operations. Our POS solutions can address the needs of merchants in different segments ranging from micro/nano merchants to enterprise customers. To continue the trajectory, we seek a competent, strategic, analytical leader to work closely with our commercial and operations team to grow our POS solutions.
The Go-to-market Lead is part of the European Markets growth team. This is a group of cross-functional growth hackers with the mission of completely transforming SumUp’s go-to-market from the current approach of leading with our successful card acceptance product to an integrated ecosystem of products that power all aspects of our merchants’ businesses.
This role offers the opportunity to make an impact as the go-to-market leader of two of SumUp’s most important new products. You will have the end-to-end commercial responsibility for scaling POS Lite and POS Pro in Europe. As such, this role represents a very entrepreneurial challenge in one of Europe’s most successful Fintech companies
What you’ll do
Own the goal of supercharging POS growth and make it your mission to improve the bottom line by setting and pursuing ambitious growth goals
Develop go-to-market strategy, create and implement the execution plan by collaborating with key stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Operations, Marketing, Sales, Analytics & Finance)
Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to validate hypotheses and find effective ways to improve user acquisition, activation, cross-selling and retention strategies.
Improve the user experience by optimizing operational processes and working with product and engineering teams on improving the product
Be on top of market trends, customer behavior, and the competitive landscape to uncover potential growth avenues.
You’ll be great for this role if
You have 6+years experience in Growth Roles or Consulting
You have experience in setting up, leading and evaluating complex and high-impact projects that required cross-functional team involvement
You have experience in developing a strategy on how to execute growth initiatives across the full spectrum of growth channels
You have a strong “business case” acumen and make data driven decisions
You inspire others with your vision and create an environment that supports collaborators to realize their full potential
