Your New Team
Our SumUp offices in Dublin or Berlin are currently hiring for the position of Senior Tribe Compliance Analyst in the Tribe Compliance Partner Team.
The Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) team is a key component of SumUp’s 3 lines of defence. Tribe Compliance Partner team is part of the GRC team, and its mission is to help the SumUp product teams to offer their competitive products in compliance with the applicable regulations, by facilitating communication between the business and GRC, by managing new product/service discussions, by communicating GRC-related requirements and by addressing day-to-day compliance questions coming from the business side of SumUp.
What you’ll do?
Coordinate the collection & documentation of hardware compliance requirements, as well as their communication to our product development teams to support business development and products & markets launch
Monitor the development of regulations that are relevant to hardware to ensure advanced awareness and preparatory tasks are undertaken early to implement foreseen changes, while continuing to provide support and advice on all legislative changes to the business
Serve as a hardware compliance advisor to the business, help with strategic decision making and provide guidance for day-to-day requests
Maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders and coordinate hardware related projects and external queries
Coordinate tasks related to Due Diligence requests from SumUp partners.
Support Card Schemes Compliance expert with tasks in this particular area.
Manage stakeholders’ queries and requests and maintain logs, ensuring all requests and any issues are addressed in a timely and accurate manner.
You’ll be great for this role if:
You have experience in the fintech or financial services industry (or closely related experience), and you have a good understanding of payments products and processes.
Having been involved in multi-national product launches will be a plus Knowledge/experience in POS compliance would be an advantage
You demonstrate the ability to identify issues, assess risks and propose solutions
Strong coordinator able to manage stakeholders effectively
Good communication with skill and interest to create bi-directional understanding for compliance and product needs to respective stakeholders
Ability to manage high degrees of uncertainty
Fluent in English
