We’re looking for a strong Product Designer who enjoys close collaboration with Product, Engineers, Analytics, and User Research, and Marketing to craft ground-breaking product solutions in the payments space. Our design team drives innovative payment processing and loyalty solutions for merchant businesses at scale. We cultivate and admire creative thinkers that push the boundaries beyond what is possible. You’ll be joining and fostering a culture of hands-on making, testing and collaborative learning.
You are a product designer that has relevant UX design education or experience, seeking challenging projects spanning across web, desktop, and mobile applications. You are excited to build product solutions, eager to learn, and strive for design execution excellence. You can jump straight into tasks, but still need guidance and are developing your craft.
What you’ll do:
Report to Lead Product Designer and collaborate with cross-functional peers (Design Director, Product Management, Research, Analytics, QA, and Engineering)
Analyze problems and design user-centric design solutions
Design user flows, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, animation
Participate in hands-on user research to influence design decisions
Communicate design decisions to stakeholder and accept feedback
Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and inspire best practices
Apply visual brand consistency between all product and marketing materials
Develop your craft to execute and design deliverables to stakeholders
What we’re looking for:
2-4 years of experience
A stellar portfolio that demonstrates your UX and UI design experience
Experience using Figma to create user flows and designs prototypes
Examples of great layout, visual hierarchy, and typography skills
Examples of web and/or mobile app experience
Strategic thinking when designing user flows, information architecture, wireframes, or prototypes
Nice to haves:
Any B2B, B2C, payments experience
Any creative agency experience
Any hands-on research experience (market, design trends, usability studies, competitive analysis, A/B testing)
Any additional software experience (Illustrator, After Effects, Premier Pro, Miro)
Experience working directly with engineers
Compensation:
$100-$130k base salary + Equity
Compensation will be finalized based on the candidate’s experience and location
