What You Will Do
Work with a global team while supporting the design, implementation and maintenance of SumUp’s compliance risk management system for the LATAM Tribe.
Maintain and improve our key compliance indicators.
Research and analyze industry regulatory requirements identifying existing and upcoming obligations providing periodic reports to relevant stakeholders.
Focus on internal compliance policy review, including ongoing assessments, assisting with compliance review, internal audit reviews and ongoing or ad hoc reviews.
Analyze and update existing policies and procedures (or other related documentation).
Communicate compliance policies and guidelines helping keep and improve our internal compliance culture.
Help with the application for compliance certifications and regulatory approvals across Latam operations.
Train other team members on internal policies and industry compliance requirements.
Keeping up with compliance requirements and amendments to regulations.
Collaborating with other departments on special projects and special compliance projects as necessary.
Assisting in the development of training materials, cultural activities and compliance awareness.
You Will Be Great For This Position If
You have 1 year of compliance, legal, paralegal, research, control management or auditing experience, preferably in the financial industry.
Strong analytical skills and hands on attitude is a must.
Ability, experience or willingness to learn about compliance risks, culture, regulation, etc.
Effective research and professional networking skills.
You know how to use Excel, Python or any other programming language to solve complex problems.
Ability to accurately complete applications for compliance certification.
Ability to effectively train employees.
Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
You are fluent in English - you’ll be working in a truly global company.
