Key Account Management Lead

As our Key Account Management Lead, you’ll play a critical role in building the KAM strategy and building long-lasting business relationships across all of SumUp’s operating countries in Europe. You will drive customer retention and YoY growth of SumUp’s largest customers. Where in the past KAM was working in isolation, the KAM lead will now work on developing new ways of working, processes and frameworks for KAM in close collaboration with the Operations organisation (Customer Success Management team).
This position is part of our newly unified EU Go To Market Tribe of 300+ SumUppers, who are dedicated to acquiring, growing, and serving our European merchant base with our different products, such as the Business Account, POS Pro, and the Card Payments.
What you’ll do
Define and drive the Key Account Management strategy, which consists of high-value customers using SumUp’s services across Europe
Analyse data and internal reports to uncover new opportunities and increase customer value via growth initiatives of existing accounts
Constantly seek opportunities to improve and structure our processes and implement best practices
Manage the growing Key Account team, and coach team members to become expert business consultants and relationship managers
Set team targets and be the owner of your team’s performance
You’ll be great for this role if
You have +10 years of experience working in Key Account Management for end users.
You have solid experience in managing, coaching, and leading a team.
You have unparalleled people skills - together with your team, you will be creating a "wow" experience for our high-value customers.
You have a can-do attitude - you are self-driven, proactive and persistent.
You are a strategic commercial thinker with outstanding analytical skills
