Head of Strategic Partnerships

As our Head of Strategic Partnerships, you’ll play a key role in driving SumUp's Partnership Strategy for Partners, Large Merchants and Integrations across all of our operating countries in Europe. You'll set the long-term vision of the area in close collaboration with the Commercial Director by setting strategic commercial targets and frameworks, aligning on infrastructure development and cross-functional collaborating to streamline teams across the whole customer journey.

What you'll do

  • Drive SumUp's Partner Management function across the EU by defining a vision and go-to-market strategy for the region

  • Actively drive the team culture, structure and direction of the Partner Management team, setting targets, facilitating team development and focus on building a high performance team with a winning mindset

  • Analyse data and reports to refine sales strategies, drive growth of existing partnerships and expand our partner portfolio to build more successful partnerships and acquire more enterprise merchants.

  • Proactively review and improve business models, commercial setups to ensure a clear focus on maximising revenue of the channel

  • Drive transparency, automation and simplification of our sales process to optimise for revenue growth, pace setting and maximising output

  • Constantly seek opportunities to improve and structure our processes and implement best practices

  • Establish ways of work with other functions and tribes within the SumUp ecosystem to foster collaboration and finding synergies and efficiencies.

You'll be great for this position if 

  • You have 10+ years of experience working in B2B Sales/Business Development.

  • You have strong experience in managing, coaching, and leading regional (EU) and large teams (10+).

  • You have great analytical skills and strong business acumen.

  • You’re self-driven, proactive, persistent, pragmatic and have a can-do attitude.

  • You enjoy solving complex problems, taking a broad and long term perspective to identify solutions
