What you’ll do 

We are currently looking for a Global Head of Talent Acquisition who will help us in building and maintaining a high performance Talent Acquisition (TA) team globally. The TA team at SumUp is embedded into businesses and the Global Head of TA will guide and coach TA team members and also work very closely with the leadership team at SumUp. This person will establish joint rituals and keep the rhythm, set targets, analyze performance data and support business leaders related to their TA teams. 

The Global Head of TA will report into the Chief People Officer and will have a direct team of Talent Acquisition Leads in the regions (Latin America, North America and Europe), Executive Recruiting as well as recruiting support functions. The position will be based in Berlin. 

  • Develop and implement the right metrics and KPIs throughout the TA chapter to improve excellence and efficiency in the hiring processes

  • Drive knowledge exchange, cross-functional synergies and project management throughout the TA chapter

  • Strengthen hiring processes for the best candidate experience

  • Guide business leaders on hiring prioritization, support alignment between TA capacity and hiring needs

  • Develop and implement rituals such as all-hands and offsites to improve team cohesiveness and exchange of best practices for TA chapter

  • Co-develop the right talent development programme for the TA community 

  • Support decision making on technology and tools to improve hiring processes 

  • Bring a more data focused approach to TA using the right tools and technologies 

  • Guide teams on the most inclusive and diverse hiring practices

You’ll be great for this role if,

  • You have regional and/or global management experience ideally in Talent Acquisition in a similar large, multi-national and complex tech organization

  • You demonstrate strong analytical thinking and business acumen with an understanding of how strategic talent acquisition impacts the business

  • You have experience in providing mentorship and guidance to teams and designing career development plans 

  • You demonstrate strong experience in change management

  • You’re able to influence and collaborate with multiple stakeholders

  • You’re a strong communicator

  • You have strong project management skills and results orientation

  • You have a solution oriented attitude with the right balance of innovation and pragmatic creativity
