As a Senior iOS Engineer working in the Sales Platform team, you will be working on further developing and building our Sales & Order experience - the most frequented journeys our merchants go through on a daily basis.

What you’ll do in this role:

  • Work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.

  • Build our Sales Platform to help merchants have better visibility into their sales history across multiple SumUp products.

  • Work closely with product and design peers to build features that are usable and beautiful.

  • Dive into the code to create clean components, develop and refine features, write tests as well as keep an eye on maintainability, performance, and stability.

  • Help us rethink problems we've solved before in a different way as needs evolve.

  • Be a caring and respectful contributor as part of a diverse team.

You’ll be a great fit for this role if:

  • You're comfortable with a Swift & Objective-C ecosystem and have 3+ years of development experience.

  • You care about user interaction, usability, and of course, making the interface beautiful.

  • You know what to test, how to write flexible tests that won’t break, and why you are writing them.

  • You love coding and take the time to reflect on all aspects of the development journey, from architectural decisions to the collaboration processes.

  • You have sound knowledge of MVVM(-C) and can elaborate on the pros and cons of common design patterns.

  • You are excited about continuous delivery despite the challenges on mobile, and you embrace trunk-based development.

  • You are self-driven and proactive in your approach, showing every day that problems are best solved in diverse teams.
