Employee Relations Manager

We're looking to welcome to our team an Employee Relations Manager, based at our Berlin office.
We have a newly established German Works Council (WC). The Employee Relations Manager will be responsible for building trusting relationships between WC and the Business and handling all relevant people and business related topics in line with the German Works Council Constitution Act. You will play a critical role in serving as a single point of contact for Works Council related projects.
What you’ll do
Establish a trusting relationship with the Works Council and the CEO Europe, who is the main representative from the company for all WC related topics
Become a trustworthy contact person for managers and employees in all WC related matters
Coordinate weekly meetings between WC and CEO (incl. agenda and minutes)
Be the single point of contact for all WC requests (from the WC, managers, People Partners, etc.)
Create templates for WCs requests
Own the overview of all requests made by different areas and Tribes
Together with the Labour Lawyer educate the People team on WCs topics
You’ll be great for this role if
You have strong knowledge of and experience in working with German Labour Law + German Works Council Constitution Act
You have previous experience as Human Resources Specialist, Generalist, Administrator or similar (desirable)
You are an excellent communicator with active listening and interpersonal skills with a high-level of collaboration internally and externally
You love to work with people
You have an independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working as well as the ability to work in a team
You know how to prioritise to meet deadlines and know when to ask for support
You are able to work in a fast paced environment, where accuracy matters
