SumUp enables merchants to offer state-of-the-art payment solutions for their online businesses. This tribe plays a key role in working towards SumUp’s vision of operating a 360° full-cycle payments solution provider.
As a PreSales Representative, you will be a key contributor to the sales team’s overall success.
This role will be based in Barcelona and will be focused on working with merchants from the DACH market.
What you’ll do as a PreSales Representative:
Contact merchants that have already shown interest in our services and products
Work closely with the team to keep the “engagement time to contact” as short as possible
Qualify merchants and rely on company tools to capture qualification information in a standardized way in order to maintain high-quality data
Help the team to achieve the daily, weekly, and monthly targets related to the “qualified merchants” whilst making sure to keep high-quality appointments
Promote the company ecosystem and manage potential objections to strengthen future customer engagement
Re-engage with merchants and reschedule meetings where merchants did not attend
You’ll be great for this position if
You’re business fluent in German, both spoken and written
Conversational English is also necessary - any other European language can be considered a plus
Strong telephone presence and experience
Excellent verbal and communication skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
You are highly motivated, goal-oriented, ambitious, and a team player
Previous experience in the FnB (food and beverage) sector is a plus
Usage knowledge of Salesforce or any other CRM tools is a plus
