Head of Sales Spain

What you’ll do

  • Supporting SumUp POS strategy, i.e. Go-to-Market strategy, Product development, etc.

  • Defining and implementing the strategic business plan, the sales strategy and taking SumUp Spain to the next level

  • Managing, leading and inspiring exceptional Sales people to overachieve targets, tracking business KPIs through Salesforce

  • Attracting and developing top talents, through best in class recruiting, onboarding, and training methodologies

  • Monitoring performance plans, Managing career plans

  • Building strong relationships / partnerships with top industry players

  • Striving for customer satisfaction by ensuring that the company's standards are met

  • Contributing to SumUp culture spread within and outside the company

Your profile

The ideal candidate has minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position and brings the following qualities:

  • Led and inspired hyper performing Sales teams (+15 people, for more than 2 years)

  • Communicative leader who is used to working in cross-functional teams with excellent organizational and people skills

  • Experience working in hyper growth environments is a must (Startups or Scaleups)

  • You have a great capacity for analysis and know how to navigate through dashboards (CRM expertise) to gather relevant, actionable data (Salesforce a plus)

  • You are a solution maker, fast learner, go getter, strategic thinker

  • Your are a persistent self-starter, agile and open to new challenges

  • You demonstrate rigor, autonomy & thought leadership

  • You always strive for great customer experience

  • You enjoy the ride at all times, i.e. you are a fun & driven team player with a startup spirit

  • Willingness to travel when necessary. 

  • Fluent in both Spanish and English is a must.

  • Knowledge of the hospitality and fintech industries are a plus.
