In this position, you’ll work within our Learning & Development team, which is responsible for providing learning solutions to all SumUp employees within Operations. The Learning & Development team has multiple focus areas, providing new joiner training on a monthly basis to in-house new hires, supplying all training materials, creating new product training solutions, offering learning solutions with maximum business impact to existing employees and offering tailored training programs for various career paths within the business.
Daily responsibilities can include, but are not limited to:
Facilitating training, solo or with a co-trainer, following approved curricula
Managing the classroom to ensure an organised and productive learning environment for all trainees
Collaboratively maintain core training programs and their collective collateral to ensure accuracy and efficiency in training classrooms around the globe
Work closely with the stakeholder and other SMEs to create and implement new, engaging course materials and training programs in all pertinent formats (including eLearning)
Manage and prioritise training program updates and requests from internal and partner training staff
Follow the established schedule of training program updates, including tracking and communication of changes
Facilitate Train-the-Trainer sessions on source content creation, new materials, and other subjects as needed
Other tasks and projects, as assigned by L&D Lead
Your Profile
Experience in an L&D role ideally in a fast-paced, international organization
Display a high sense of urgency and a strong employee and customer orientation
Prior experience of designing onboarding is a plus
Capable of managing projects with tight deadlines and being agile with changes
Prior experience of carrying out ‘Needs Analysis’, as well as design and delivery of internal trainings
Proven expertise in training evaluation/impact assessment
Your Skills
Fluent in English
Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills
Ability to influence at all levels and partner with key stakeholders
Pragmatic/hands-on approach to learning and development
Able to juggle conflicting priorities
A positive and “can-do” mindset
