Customer Success Manager - German speaker

As a Junior Customer Success you will be 100% responsible for managing and supporting our small and medium sized merchants during their lifecycle with SumUp POS. In this role you will be facing clients at all levels and interacting with every department in the company, therefore we need you to have a proactive and positive attitude. We are a fast growing company where you will have a great opportunity to develop your career, learn and rapidly grow within SumUp.


  • Interact with +300/month small and medium German merchants, through multiple channels (email, phone, webinar) with main focus on onboarding new clients

  • Train and empower merchants in their use of the SumUp POS ecosystem

  • Be the voice of our customers within the company

  • General overview and treatment of customer request tickets

  • Deliver webinars to our merchants when required

Who we are looking for:

  • You have a positive and proactive attitude 

  • You are a strong team player that can rapidly adapt to rapidly evolving situations 

  • You are very good at empathizing with clients and explain complex challenges in a simple way

  • You are able to be organized in an extremely fast paced and dynamic environment

  • You are a good negotiator when situations heat up

  • You speak German (Native) and English (Fluent)

  • Customer service experience 

  • You are based in Barcelona or surrounding
